Walk behind and stand on trenchers

In lieu of a shovel and an incredibly strong back, trenchers are a critical piece of equipment when digging a narrow trench. Trenchers are commonly used for prepping the ground for the installation of drainage pipes, electrical cables, irrigation lines, or landscaping edging.

A trencher resembles a vehicle with a large chainsaw attached. The toothed rock wheel (chain) at the end of the trencher's arm can easily cut through dirt, clay, and rock.

At Durante, we rent Barretto brand tracked walk-behind or ride-behind trenchers. Both are perfect for tough, narrow areas that contractors may need to access at residential or commercial properties and can dig up to 48" deep.

Our trencher rentals grip extremely well on wet or dry soil, unstable surfaces like sand, and uneven terrain. These trenches are gentle on existing landscaping with their lower center of gravity also providing maximum stability for the operator.
