WHAT IS EPP?

EPP (Equipment Protection Plan) is a charge equal to 12% of the rental. When offered, it is designed to help limit your financial responsibility for accidental damage that may occur during approved use of the rental unit. EPP does not provide equipment coverage for any intentional act, omission, abuse, or neglect resulting in damage to the unit.

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE EPP?

EPP provides peace of mind when an accident happens. Even if you have insurance, most damages occur within your deductible or are too small that many customers decide not to initiate a claim. We highly recommend that all customers include EPP in their rental contracts.

EXCHANGES

Customers are not responsible for trucking fees related to the delivery of an equipment swap caused by accidental damage.

DEDUCTIBLE

The customer is responsible for a 10% deductible of the total damage cost up to $500.

INSURANCE

EPP is not insurance. The customer is required to carry their own insurance for instances not covered as accidental damage. Most of the time, damage charges are less than most insurance policy deductibles. In these instances, EPP works to help cover most of the accidental damage costs.

RENTAL CHARGE DURING DOWNTIME

A customer who pays EPP is not responsible for continuing to pay rent once the equipment is returned and waiting for repairs to be performed under EPP.

MAXIMUM LIMIT

EPP pays up to a maximum of $10,000 for any single contract.
