RENTAL FAQs

  • The daily, weekly, and monthly rate quoted, unless otherwise noted, will be based on maximum usage of eight (8) hours per day; forty (40) hours per week; or one hundred sixty (160) hours per month. All use in excess thereof, and all transportation, fuel, theft, EPP, damage charges, and related charges shall be paid by the renter in addition to initial charges. Monthly rentals are calculated as 4 weeks or 28 days.

  • No, we do not automatically schedule pickups. All units must be called off rent by the renter when done. The renter must also obtain a valid return pickup number when calling off.

  • Your rental period officially ends when the rental equipment is returned to our possession, ie. after we have picked up the equipment from your location or after you have dropped off the equipment at our physical store and it has been accepted by a Durante Equipment employee.

  • When you have finished with the rental, please call to speak to a rental coordinator who will coordinate the pickup and schedule a truck to come to your location.

  • Yes. In most instances if the item was delivered Monday through Friday during regular business hours the same trucking fee we charged for delivery will apply to the pickup as well. For example, if you were charged $125 for delivery, you will also be charged $125 for the pickup of the rental. If you are seeking an early morning or late afternoon pickup or another pickup during non-business hours then the rate may be different than delivery.

  • Yes, we offer multi-month(s) or longer rentals. Please contact us for an equipment quote.

  • EPP (Equipment Protection Plan) is a charge equal to 12% of the rental. When offered, it helps to limit your financial responsibility for accidental damage that may occur during approved use of the rental unit. Although not required, EPP is strongly suggested. Read more about EPP.

  • Unfortunately, we do not provide equipment operators for hire, only the equipment rental.

  • All rentals that require fuel will come with a full tank. It is the customer's responsibility to return the rental with a full tank. Rentals returned with less than a full tank will be charged a predetermined fuel charge per gallon(s) required.

  • The 2% environmental fee is a supplemental charge applied to equipment rentals to support environmentally-friendly practices and initiatives. It helps cover the costs associated with managing and mitigating the environmental impact of equipment use, such as waste disposal (oil, tires, batteries, fuel, etc.), recycling programs, and eco-friendly equipment cleaning and maintenance.

DELIVERY FAQs

  • Yes, we have a large fleet of reliable delivery trucks offering delivery and pick-up service almost anywhere in South Florida. Please speak to your rental coordinator for delivery rates.

  • When scheduled in advance we offer a 2-hour delivery window. For example, we will deliver your equipment between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Our drivers are the best in the industry and have an outstanding 97.8% on-time delivery record. (not including delays caused by severe weather, acts of God, and other factors beyond our control).

  • Delivery rates vary based on distance and the size, type, and quantity of equipment being delivered. Please call or email us for a delivery quote.

  • We try our best to accommodate these requests. It requires two employees to be on-site. Staff is on overtime and services will be quoted as such.
